Job Description

This Technician role focuses on supporting ATM installations and branch renovation projects at banks and financial institutions throughout the region. You will assist with ATM deployments, perform general handyman tasks, and support job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Support ATM installation projects and branch renovation activities at bank and financial institution locations across the region.
  • Perform general handyman work, including carpentry, painting, patching, and basic tiling, to support renovation and installation tasks.
  • Use common hand tools and power tools to complete installation, repair, and facility maintenance work according to project requirements.
  • Assist with demolition, including removal of existing fixtures and materials, while following safety guidelines and site procedures.
  • Handle materials by loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, and moving tools, equipment, and supplies throughout the workday and across job sites.
  • Prepare job sites by organizing materials, setting up tools and equipment, and ensuring the workspace is ready for technicians and project teams.
  • Support technicians and project teams throughout all phases of installation projects, including setup, execution, and project completion.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues related to facility maintenance and repair activities under the guidance of lead technicians.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to customer specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Experience using common hand tools and power tools in a construction, handyman, or general labor environment.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for installation and renovation tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of painting, including surface preparation and application techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Basic knowledge of tiling and general construction tasks relevant to renovation and facility maintenance work.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday as part of general labor duties.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on job sites and installation projects.
  • Ability to perform general labor, facility maintenance, and repair tasks in support of ATM installations and renovations.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for minor issues encountered during facility maintenance and repair work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in handyman work, construction, or general labor is highly beneficial.
  • Experience supporting installation projects or facility renovation work is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout all phases of a project.
  • Strong reliability and willingness to learn new technical skills related to ATM installation and specialized banking equipment.
  • Comfort working in a variety of environments, including active bank branches and off-site project locations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
