Mixer Operator | Direct Placement Pay: $23/hour | NO INTERVIEW - Start next day!

What You'll Do

  • Operate industrial mixing equipment to make glues and sealants.
  • Follow batch tickets to measure and mix materials correctly.
  • Use a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products.
  • Lift and load materials weighing 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
  • Monitor mixing processes and perform quality checks.
  • Fill and move 50-gallon drums of finished product.
  • Enter production data and complete paperwork in the computer system.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Sit-down forklift experience.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Chemical mixing or batch processing experience.
  • Machine operation experience.
  • SAP or inventory system experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Work Environment

  • Industrial chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Hot, non-air-conditioned environment.
  • Frequent forklift traffic and machine noise.
  • Long sleeves required at all times.
  • Regular schedule: 2nd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
  • Training on 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) for 1 to 3 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
