Behavioral Health RN - High Pay and Benefits + Career Growth

The Behavioral Health RN plays a critical role in delivering compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $87,000 annually and opportunities for career growth. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, administer medications, and provide leadership during shifts while upholding standards of empathy, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing and patient assessments
• Develop and implement patient care plans tailored to behavioral health needs
• Monitor patients for any changes and notify physicians when necessary
• Administer medications following hospital policies and procedures
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing and support staff
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and maintain quality patient care
• Support treatment-plan goals and participate in behavioral-health activities including groups, close observation, and meal supervision
• Communicate empathetically with patients and engage respectfully with families and external organizations

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Behavioral Health experience required or preferred
• CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days
• De-escalation certification required or must obtain within 30 days

• Salary: $70,000–$87,000/year (Based on Experience)
