Human Resources (HR) Coordinator
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator. This role supports essential HR and payroll activities for a fast-paced workforce environment, with a strong focus on employee records, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, along with practical experience handling payroll and daily HR administration. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys keeping HR operations organized, accurate, and responsive.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day human resources coordination, including employee file maintenance, data entry, and general administrative support.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule while helping resolve timekeeping or pay-related questions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring documents are completed and required information is entered correctly.
• Support HR compliance efforts by maintaining records and helping follow company policies and employment requirements.
• Assist employees and supervisors with routine HR questions in both English and Spanish as needed.
• Help maintain accurate personnel information and update HR systems to reflect employment changes.
• Contribute to HR support for a frontline, labor-intensive employee population within a construction or manufacturing setting.
• Use HR and payroll platforms effectively, including systems such as Sage HR or similar tools when applicable.
• At least 2 years of experience in human resources coordination, payroll, or related HR support work.• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll with a high level of accuracy.
• Background supporting HR functions such as onboarding, compliance, employee records, and administrative tasks.
• Prior experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with frontline or labor-intensive workforce populations.
• Familiarity with HR or payroll systems, including Sage HR or comparable platforms, is a plus.
