The role involves media blasting 3D printed parts to remove powder and prepare finished products according to job sheet requirements, drawings, and quality standards.
Openings:
- Friday - Monday: 6:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday - Sunday: 4:00pm - 4:30am
Responsibilities
- Perform media blasting of MJF printed parts according to job sheets and specifications.
- Remove all excess powder and ensure parts meet finishing quality standards.
- Compare parts to drawings and job sheets to verify features and requirements.
- Visually inspect parts for defects and identify quality issues.
- Monitor blasting equipment and maintain proper media levels.
- Reject non-conforming parts and escalate concerns to the Post Process Lead.
- Support production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Load and unload parts into media machine, adhering to safety protocols and using provided PPE.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of machine operating or sand blasting experience is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, finishing, or quality inspection.
- Comfortable following work instructions and drawings.
- Committed to producing high-quality finished parts in a team-based environment.
- Ability to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.

Work Environment
Work in a prototype and mass production manufacturing environment. The role involves working in a media area with a strong smell, where PPE is provided. The position operates on the 1st shift, Friday to Monday, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, OR 2nd shift, Friday to Sunday, from 4:00 pm to 4:30 am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of CARLSBAD, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
