Join a dedicated team in ensuring the quality and integrity of concrete materials through meticulous testing and evaluation. As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production and development of innovative and sustainable construction solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tests on fresh concrete, including slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight.
  • Prepare, cure, and test cylinders and beams for compressive and flexural strength according to ASTM standards.
  • Assist with trial batches and evaluate concrete mix performance.
  • Maintain curing facilities and laboratory equipment, including performing basic calibration checks.
  • Accurately record, track, and report test data and sample information.
  • Verify that results meet specifications and flag any non-conforming materials or trends.
  • Support field testing and coordinate with plant and jobsite personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab and work area.
Essential Skills
  • Working knowledge of ASTM and ACI standards or willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Basic math skills for calculations and data evaluation.
  • Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with field and plant teams.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining an orderly work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in measuring, material handling, loading, unloading, and general labor.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and packing.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and production processes.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a combination of laboratory, plant, and field environments with exposure to outdoor conditions, construction materials, and equipment. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
