Production Associate 1st and 2nd shift Available with O.T

The Production Associate is responsible for operating equipment, assembling products, and ensuring that all quality standards are met. This role is crucial in achieving daily production goals and maintaining a smooth workflow within the manufacturing process. The associate will handle tasks such as boxing, palletizing, lifting up to 35 pounds, sorting, and bagging products. Adherence to all safety guidelines and efficient collaboration with the production team are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and assemble products as per production standards.
  • Ensure all quality standards are met during the production process.
  • Box, palletize, sort, and bag products efficiently.
  • Lift items up to 35 pounds safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Essential Skills

  • One year of production experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Proficiency in working as part of a team and effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in forklift operation, general production, packaging, assembly, and inspection.

Why Work Here?

Employees with perfect attendance over six months can enter a drawing to receive bonuses of $10,000, $5,000, or $3,000. Additionally, those with perfect attendance for six months earn a $300 reward. There are opportunities for promotion to roles such as Work Coach or Manager. Employees may also have the opportunity to transition to a direct role after three months.

The work environment requires the ability to work with hay or grass, with no grass allergies permitted

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
