Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist who takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory locations and supporting customer needs.
This is not an entry-level warehouse position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse systems who understands accountability, accuracy, and operational support.
This individual must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Slot inventory for new items and adjust according to volume movement and commodity.
- Run and analyze various inventory reports.
- Research inventory discrepancies and provide customer credits as needed.
- Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Execute inventory transfers, adjustments, and system transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with purchasing to prepare items that get returned to vendor.
- Support drivers check in process.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work and assist cross-departmentally as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of warehouse inventory control experience
- Strong understanding of FIFO inventory practices
- Experience with RF scanners and inventory/WMS systems
- Experience in a distribution environment.
- Ability to safely operate reach lift, cherry picker, and pallet jack equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Cycle counting and inventory audit experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule Monday – Friday
Hours 7:00am – 3:30pm (must have flexible schedule)
