We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our fast-paced warehouse team. If you are dependable, initiative-taking, and ready to work, you could be a member of our team!

This position is essential to our distribution success. The ideal candidate understands that inventory accuracy and FIFO compliance are essential to customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist who takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory locations and supporting customer needs.

This is not an entry-level warehouse position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse systems who understands accountability, accuracy, and operational support.

This individual must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory locations.
  • Slot inventory for new items and adjust according to volume movement and commodity.
  • Run and analyze various inventory reports.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and provide customer credits as needed.
  • Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
  • Execute inventory transfers, adjustments, and system transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to prepare items that get returned to vendor.
  • Support drivers check in process.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Work and assist cross-departmentally as needed.

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of warehouse inventory control experience
  • Strong understanding of FIFO inventory practices
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory/WMS systems
  • Experience in a distribution environment.
  • Ability to safely operate reach lift, cherry picker, and pallet jack equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Cycle counting and inventory audit experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.


Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule Monday – Friday

Hours 7:00am – 3:30pm (must have flexible schedule)
