Electrical Design Engineer, US Citizen Required, Direct Hire

In aerospace and defense markets the company’s digitally tuned filters support secure communications in the presence of electromagnetic interference. Low drift, highly accurate oscillators provide reliable frequency lock for ground, vehicle, air and satellite communication as well as electronic countermeasures. Vibration and shock resistant crystal clocks sharpen radar images and help monitor commercial aircraft engine performance. For Internet communication, their very low noise and packet sync clocks help increase bandwidth and prevent data loss in cellular base stations, micro and femto cells and Wi-Fi access points. Millimeter wave filters ensure corporate and telecom point-to-point links stay error free. On the lab bench or consumer electronics production test floors, the company’s ultra-low noise frequency reference oscillators insure accurate measurements. When public safety is paramount, wide temperature range/waterproof cavity filters ensure reliable radio communication. The company has an immediate need for an Electrical Design Engineer at their Yankton, SD plant. US Citizenship is required. The position will involve the design of frequency control devices like TCXO’s, VCXO’s, clocks, etc..

This position is for an Electrical Engineer or similar engineering major with interests in microelectronic development. Position requires the candidate to work closely with other engineers in the development and product support. Tasks may include product requirements analysis and capture, circuit modeling, and process/product improvement activities. The selected candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter willing to work closely with team members of various disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Design of various RF and Digital electrical circuits
• Work with customers and sale support team to meet customer product requirements.
• Circuit modeling, building, and testing proto circuits
• Test and document product performance
• Document procedures and processes
• Assist in other electrical design duties as well
• Work on various other projects and processes as needed

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Electrical or Electronic Design.
• Ability to read schematical drawings and troubleshoot circuits
• Attention to details
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Requires US Citizenship

This position will report directly to Engineering Manager.
