- Issue and stage materials for production according to job numbers, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing schedules.
- Create and maintain dedicated inventory kits for individual manufacturing projects.
- Track high-value and long-lead components through receiving, storage, production, and completion.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Research inventory discrepancies and make approved system corrections.
- Maintain accurate quantities within the ERP or inventory-management system.
- Coordinate with purchasing regarding shortages, reorder requirements, and delivery dates.
- Work with engineering and production to confirm component specifications and approved substitutions.
- Help establish appropriate stocking levels for frequently used components.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled inventory and material-staging areas.
- Support continuous improvement of inventory-control and warehouse processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory, material-control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience receiving, tracking, staging, and issuing materials within a production environment.
- Strong inventory accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, Bills of Materials, and basic production documentation.
- Experience using inventory software, ERP systems, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to production needs.
- Ability to operate or become certified to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Ability to work onsite in Jurupa Valley, California.
Highly Preferred
