Cell Phone Repair Technician
Job Description
Luxor Staffing is hiring a Cell Phone Repair Technician paying $18.50 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Shift: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics to identify hardware and software issues in mobile devices.
- Conduct board-level repairs, including micro-soldering, water-damage restoration, and IC/component replacement.
- Replace complex components such as motherboards, displays, batteries, charging ports, connectors, and other internal parts.
- Flash firmware, resolve boot loops and software corruption, and use specialized repair equipment such as microscopes and hot-air rework stations.
- Maintain accurate repair records, ensure quality standards are met, and support Level 1 and 2 technicians through troubleshooting and technical training.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile device repair, including board-level work.
- Proven expertise in micro-soldering and use of diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read schematics and board layouts.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Certifications such as WISE Level 2/3, IPC, or OEM-specific credentials preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is required.
