Wholesale Pump & Supply, Inc (WPS) has been in the pump and supply business for 75 years and we are growing. WPS is an industry leader in the distribution of groundwater, wastewater, municipal, commercial, and industrial pumping equipment, and related supplies. WPS currently has nine branches located throughout Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Service customer call-in and walk-in accounts.

Ø Support sales team in quoting and administrative tasks.

Ø Interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders.

Ø Responsible for entire order process, including order creation through delivery paperwork, and maintaining organized records.

Ø Accurately create work orders and process invoices.

Ø Provide technical sales support and product consulting to customers.

Ø Provide assistance to warehouseman, (pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks)

Ø Other duties, as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ø High School diploma or equivalent work experience

Ø Experience in inside sales/customer service role a plus

Ø Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)

Ø Experience working in warehouse environment

Ø Oral and written communication skills, both internal and external

Ø Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times

Ø Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs.

Ø Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment

Ø Relationship-building abilities with both customers and co-workers.

Ø Strong work ethic and integrity.
