SECURITY GUARD - UNARMED

We are seeking a Security Guard to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will perform security related checks at assigned premises.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular internal patrols
• Report any facility issues related to security, health and safety

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess or able to obtain a VA DCJS Security Registration
• Possess a high school diploma/GED of higher
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Strong attention to detail
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to drug screen, criminal and financial background checks
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs., climb stairs and ramps
• Previous experience in security a plus
