The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Working independently and as part of a team, the technician employs advanced diagnostic tools and standard hand tools to perform complex repairs and routine maintenance. Reporting to the shop manager, this role requires adherence to safety standards and flexible scheduling to meet service demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Repair and replace brake components
• Service electrical systems and transmission
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identify and replace faulty parts
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive repair
• ASE Certification
• Proficiency in engine diagnostics
• Experience with electrical systems repair
