Sales Specialist
Job Description
1. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.1. Prepare quotations in response to customer RFQs.
1.1.1. Develop quotation summary charts, including but not limited to initial pricing proposals.
1.1.2. Analyze customer RFQs and coordinate with internal departments to develop competitive quotations.
1.1.3. Participate in price negotiations and cost-saving initiatives, and profitability improvement activities.
1.2. Negotiate commercial terms and engineering solutions with customers to support business objectives.
1.3. Lead customer discussion regarding pricing, tooling, engineering changes, tariffs, and claims.
1.4. Coordinate customer requests and issue resolution with internal departments.
1.5. Maintain and track active customer issues to ensure timely resolution.
1.5.1. Prepare accurate cost impact analysis for Engineering Work Orders (EWOs).
1.6. Prepare reports, maintain records, and organize files relating to products, programs, and customer activities.
1.6.1. Enter part information, pricing, and purchase order data into the ERP system.
1.7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts.
1.8. Support customer satisfaction by providing solutions that meet customer requirements and business needs.
1.9. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and exceptional customer service.
1.10. Monitor market trends, customer expectations, and competitor pricing activities.
1.10.1. Review customer price lists, invoices, and accounts payable records from OEMs daily and report discrepancies.
1.11. Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and business-related events. Travel also maybe required to support customer and business needs.
1.12. Collaborate with other departments to support customer requirements and business objectives.
1.13. Other tasks as assigned.
2. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2.1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
2.2. Must have 1 to 3 years of experience.
2.3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
2.4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
2.5. Knowledge in automotive industry processes, customer requirements, and RFQ activities.
2.6. Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
2.7. Travel domestically and internationally as required.
