Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Ogden, UT

The Warehouse Associate is accountable for:


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stage materials and finished products.
  • Transport raw materials, packaging materials, ingredients, pallets, and finished goods between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while following proper loading procedures.
  • Verify materials and products against applicable documentation before moving, staging, or loading.
  • Store products and materials in designated locations while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.
  • Properly stack and secure pallets to prevent product damage and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Supply production lines with required raw materials and packaging materials in a timely manner.

· Move finished goods from production areas to designated warehouse or staging locations.

  • Stage finished products and orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Assist with receiving materials and verifying quantities, product identification, and condition.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment before and during use.
  • Report equipment damage, maintenance concerns, unsafe conditions, product damage, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate leader.
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement and location information through required paperwork, scanning systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices as applicable to products and materials.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and warehouse organization.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accessible warehouse and production areas.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and company policies.
  • Follow all forklift safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Shipping, and other teams to coordinate material movement.
  • Minimize product damage, material waste, and unnecessary movement through careful and efficient forklift operation.
  • Support loading, unloading, staging, and general warehouse activities as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining warehouse areas and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to safety, efficiency, organization, and material flow.
  • Perform other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned.

  • Mechanically inclined and able to identify basic equipment issues or unsafe operating conditions.
  • Comfortable working independently while also being an effective member of a team.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changing production and warehouse needs.
  • Willing to take direction, learn new processes, and support teammates when needed.
  • Committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through on commitments.
  • Understands that proper material handling directly impacts product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Pay Scale: $19 - $21/hr.
