Our client is a growing Class II/III medical device company looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager / Generalist to own and continuously improve the HR function. This is a full time, direct hire role working onsite.


This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working directly with leadership, and making a meaningful impact on company culture and growth. Bilingual Spanish/English is required.


The Human Resources Manager / Human Resources Generalist will:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
  • Manage benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, HRIS, and personnel records.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coach managers on performance management, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Promote a respectful, engaged, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with California employment laws and support ISO 13485/FDA requirements.
  • Partner with the President and department leaders on workforce planning, retention, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Help build scalable HR infrastructure to support continued growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required (written and verbal).
  • Strong knowledge of California employment law.
  • Experience with recruiting, employee relations, investigations, benefits, and HRIS.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift manufacturing preferred.
  • Medical device, ISO 13485, or FDA-regulated experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
