HVAC Service Technician

Ascend Air Solutions is seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Install HVAC equipment, accessories, and system components as needed.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC service experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.

Preferred

• EPA Universal Certification.
• NATE Certification.
• Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and commercial RTUs.
