Registered Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office. You’ll work closely with our dentists and team members to provide excellent patient care and keep the clinical day running smoothly.

**This position will be full-time to cover a maternity leave and then move to a part-time position after that.**

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas
• Review patient medical histories and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide patients with post-treatment and oral hygiene instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory
• Follow infection-control, OSHA, and office safety protocols
• Help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration/certification as required by the state
• Dental radiography/X-ray certification, if required
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
