Freeze Tower Technician

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Freeze Tower Technicians to operate and monitor automated production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with machine operation, manufacturing, production equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, or food production and can recognize equipment issues before they lead to downtime.

This position requires working part or all of the shift in a freezer environment. Cold-weather protective gear is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously monitor Freeze Tower and production equipment.
• Watch for jams, alarms, leaks, unusual noises, vibration, buildup, or other equipment issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment adjustments when trained and authorized.
• Report mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, or equipment concerns to leadership or Maintenance.
• Monitor product quality and maintain efficient production flow.
• Complete equipment checks, production logs, and downtime documentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, PPE, machine safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Assist Production and Packaging operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, food production, packaging, or automated equipment experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to recognize when production equipment is not operating normally.
• Experience in GMP, food manufacturing, refrigerated, or freezer environments is a plus.
• Dependable with strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working with and around automated production machinery.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable working part or all of the shift in a freezer environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely work around production equipment and follow established safety procedures.
