Integrated Pediatric Therapy (IPT) is a growing, collaborative pediatric therapy practice providing outpatient clinic-based services, early intervention home visits, and school-based support to children and families across the East Bay. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about play-based, neuro-affirming care and supporting children’s functional participation in daily routines.

Occupational therapist Key Responsibilities / DutiesClinical Care

  • Provide pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and treatment sessions in clinic, home-based (early intervention), and/or school settings
  • Develop individualized, functional, and strength-based treatment plans
  • Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, ADLs, feeding, and motor planning skills as appropriate
  • Use evidence-based, play-based, and developmentally appropriate interventions


Occupational therapist Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation aligned with insurance, EI, and school requirements
  • Track goals, progress, and outcomes using data-informed clinical reasoning


Collaboration & Family Engagement

  • Educate and collaborate with parents/caregivers to support carryover at home
  • Communicate with teachers, service coordinators, case managers, and other providers as appropriate
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration


Professional Development & Team Contribution

  • Engage in ongoing learning, mentorship, and clinical skill development
  • Support a positive team culture aligned with IPT’s values
  • Contribute to program development, groups, or specialty services as interests align


Occupational therapist Qualifications / Requirements Required

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current California OT license in good standing
  • NBCOT certification
  • Experience working with children in a pediatric setting (clinic, EI, or school-based)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills


Preferred

  • Experience with early intervention, outpatient pediatrics, or school-based OT
  • Familiarity with sensory integration, self-regulation frameworks, Feeding and play-based approaches
  • Bilingual skills a plus
