Operations Project Coordinator
Job Description
The Operations Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of internal business initiatives by coordinating cross-functional workflows, organizing project documentation, tracking operational Key Performance Indicator (KPIs). This role acts as a primary liaison between manufacturing, project managers, and vendors to eliminate blockers and drive process efficiency across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience in Industrial or Manufacturing
- Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data compilation.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Problem-Solving: Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow & Timeline Management: Track project milestones, maintain comprehensive schedules, and follow up with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of operational tasks.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Serve as a central contact point to facilitate information flow between operations.
- Process Optimization: Research existing workflows, identify coordination bottlenecks, and assist in creating or updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Data Tracking & Reporting: Collect data from internal systems to build performance reports, track KPIs, and flag timeline deviations.
- Vendor & Supply Logistics: Coordinate with external vendors, process purchase orders, review contract compliance, and track logistical deliveries.
- Meeting & Tool Administration: Schedule project syncs, document action items, and manage project updates.
