Job Summary
As a Team Lead at Hanover Park, you will oversee and coordinate daily production or operational activities, support frontline associates, and help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your team during shifts, help meet production targets, and support continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment focused on sustainable industrial packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production or operations associates to achieve daily goals and maintain high performance.
– Assign daily tasks and organize workloads to align with production schedules and shift priorities.
– Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to ensure targets are met on time and within quality standards.
– Maintain safety and quality compliance on the production floor; support adherence to all company, OSHA, and ISO policies.
– Train new team members on standard operating procedures, equipment use, safety practices, and quality expectations.
– Assist in troubleshooting production issues and communicate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve problems.
– Document production metrics, performance data, and reports accurately and communicate results to supervisors.
– Support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, lean principles) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
– Promote a positive work environment through collaboration, effective communication, and respect for values.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
– High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
– Prior experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, including leadership or supervision responsibilities is strongly preferred.
– Experience working with industrial packaging, production, or logistics is a plus.

– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate and guide a team.

– Basic computer skills for recording data and using shop-floor systems.

– Full-time, in-person role at a manufacturing facility in Hanover Park, IL.
– Exposure to typical industrial conditions including noise, machinery, and physical activity on the production floor.
