Speech Language Pathologist Haftr High School Special Education Department

HAFTR High School is seeking a dynamic, experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our collaborative and professional student services and special education team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people by providing students with the essential skills and competencies to succeed in high school academics.

We are seeking a professional who is passionate, dedicated and patient to complement our collaborative and innovative team. Our robust and well-established special education program has supported many students, enabling them to thrive and grow.

Responsibilities include: Teaching students with learning differences in small groups, developing content relevant lessons to enhance student language skills and knowledge, classroom push-in and consultation, assessing student progress, case management to meet educational goals, communication with all stakeholders, facilitating testing accommodations and administrative duties.

Candidates must have (or currently be in pursuit of) a Masters degree. Familiarity with NYS Regents curriculum is preferred. All school professionals serve as contributing members of the HAFTR High School community, engaging in professional development, school-wide initiatives and programs.

Full and/or part time position available.
