Step into a Day on Our Floor
Sunup in Grand Prairie, TX: you pull the day’s work orders, check measurements, and get to shaping lumber into protective, custom-fit wooden crates for industrial products. You’ll work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment where accuracy and safety guide everything—tape measure in hand, tools at the ready, instructions clear.
What You’ll Do- Build and assemble custom wooden crates and pallets tailored to product specifications.
- Read and interpret tape measurements with precision to ensure a correct fit.
- Confidently run hand and power tools: drills, circular saws, miter saws, and nail guns.
- Cut, measure, and assemble components exactly to spec and drawings.
- Inspect finished crates for quality, durability, and dimensional accuracy.
- Keep your station organized and the floor safe and clean.
- Follow company safety procedures and production instructions every step of the way.
- Background in carpentry, crate building, woodworking, framing, or related trades (preferred).
- Proven ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Hands-on experience with power tools and saws.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
- Sharp attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
- Flexibility to work overtime when production demands it.
- Woodworking and framing fundamentals
- Measuring and Quoting (basic estimating)
- Warehouse experience and material handling
- Shop math and layout skills
- Success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
