Concord Village Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Concord, Ohio.

What You'll Do

As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide individualized treatment designed to help residents improve or maintain the skills needed for daily living and greater independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to established plans of care
  • Assist residents with improving ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence
  • Accurately document treatments and resident progress in Net Health
  • Communicate resident progress and changes with the supervising OT
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers as appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with facility, state, federal, and professional standards
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Ohio COTA license or eligibility for Ohio licensure
  • SNF/LTC experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a strong interest in working with the geriatric population
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
