Industrial Maintenance Technician

We strive to be an employer that you can be proud to be part of.We have an immediate need for a night-shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department in Portland, PA. Our ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of 480V troubleshooting and installation and the ability to work in a team setting, but will also feel confident enough to complete some smaller tasks independently. This position is "hands-on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.What you can expect to be doing:Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance recordsTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial hydraulic and pneumatic machineryRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial equipment installationsInstall, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical componentsTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistanceMay install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.Repair, install, and adjust industrial extrusion machineryAble to work a 12-hour night shiftOur work schedule rotates every 2 weeks: 36 hours one week & 48 hours second week (schedule includes every other weekend)What we are looking for in our hire:REQUIRED Prior work experience 3+ years of experience working with 480V 3-phase electrical3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial production machinery or other related machineryWelding and Fabrication experience a plus but not requiredStrong mechanical aptitude Ability to handle the physical requirements of the jobMust be able to be on-call if necessaryPreferred work experience/knowledgeRigging and heavy equipment experience a plusKnowledge of pipe threading for air hydraulic and electrical pipingUnderstand lockout procedures and ARC flash protection/dangersAble to use scissor lifts, boom/aerial lifts, and forkliftsWhat Ultra-Poly Offers:Starting rate of up to $33.00 an hour(plus shift differential) based upon experience and required written assessment12HR Night Shift (6 pm to 6 am) working a 2*2*3 schedulePerformance reviews every 6 monthsGrowth opportunities and on-the-job trainingWeekly pay (via direct deposit)Paid Vacation and HolidaysMedical, dental, and vision coverage100% company-paid disability, life, and AD&D insurance401k after 1 year with a generous company matchQuarterly attendance bonusesEmployee referral bonusesSafety bonusesTool and boot allowanceand more...Ultra-Poly is a place where you can stop searching for a job because you actually found a place where you are comfortable and can begin your next career.
