Rehab Technician

Greensville Health and Rehab in Emporia, VA is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-Time Rehab Technician to join our in-house therapy team!

The Rehab Technician will support the therapy department with day-to-day clinical and operational needs while helping create a safe, organized, and positive environment for residents receiving rehabilitation services.

• Assist therapists with treatment sessions and therapeutic activities as directed
• Prepare and maintain therapy areas, equipment, and supplies
• Assist residents with safe transfers, mobility, positioning, and transportation as appropriate
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Follow therapist instructions and facility safety procedures
• Communicate resident needs, concerns, and changes to the appropriate therapy or nursing staff
• Provide compassionate and respectful support to residents throughout their rehabilitation experience
• Assist with routine administrative and departmental tasks as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable safety and regulatory standards

• Current CNA certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
