Compensation:$65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing and managing case files.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide valuable insights to the legal team.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and maintain open lines of communication.
- Manage and maintain the litigation calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and court dates are scheduled efficiently.
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist in the development of trial strategies to enhance case presentation.
- Support attorneys during trial by taking detailed notes, managing exhibits, and ensuring smooth proceedings in the courtroom.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in litigation support, with a focus on trial preparation and case management.
2+ years of experience in construction litigation, commercial litigation, contract litigation, and real estate litigation.
Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with court rules.
Proven track record of conducting thorough legal research and providing insightful analysis to support case strategies.
Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain case files, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts, fostering open lines of communication.
Proficiency in managing litigation calendars and scheduling court dates to ensure smooth proceedings.
Experience in preparing trial exhibits and assisting in the development of trial strategies to enhance case presentation.
