An established warehousing operation is seeking an experienced Roll & Bale Clamp Operator to safely handle large paper rolls and pulp or cellulose bales. In this skilled equipment operator role, you will load, unload, stage, transport, and store heavy industrial products using specialized clamp-equipped forklifts. Proper clamp positioning, pressure, load control, and product damage prevention are essential. Previous hands-on roll clamp and/or bale clamp experience is required; general forklift experience alone is not equivalent.
Responsibilities:- Operate roll clamp and bale clamp forklifts to safely move, stack, stage, and store paper rolls and pulp or cellulose bales
- Load and unload trucks, export shipping containers, and railcars while following load plans and warehouse procedures
- Position clamp attachments correctly and apply appropriate pressure to maintain load stability and prevent product damage
- Inspect and verify cargo condition, product identification, quantities, order information, and warehouse locations while accurately recording inventory movements
- Complete required equipment inspections and follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, OSHA requirements, and warehouse traffic guidelines
- Previous hands-on Roll Clamp and/or Bale Clamp operating experience is required
- Experience handling paper rolls, pulp bales, cellulose bales, or similar large industrial products is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of proper clamp positioning, pressure, load stability, and product damage prevention
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, load plans, shipping documents, and warehouse procedures with strong attention to accuracy
- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit powered industrial equipment; sit for extended periods; and stand, walk, bend, and reach as required in a warehouse environment
- Must be comfortable working around large moving equipment and heavy industrial cargo in conditions that may include heat, cold, dust, noise, and changing weather
- Must wear all required PPE and demonstrate dependable attendance, safety awareness, and sound equipment-operating judgment
- Experience with export container loading, railcar loading/unloading, warehouse scanning systems, or high-capacity industrial forklifts is preferred
- $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

The base pay range for this position is $19.00–$22.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
