Privately held Paragon Steel (Butler, IN) warehouses and slits steel coils and has an excellent opportunity in a fast-paced, family-oriented manufacturing environment, on First Shift as a Slitting Operator.
Details:
- Run the Slitter 60"/70" and function as Lead Operator with a crew of five
- Slitting Operator experience preferred
- Responsible for daily calibration checks of equipment and taking measurements of finished product
- Ensure that the crew members are working safely and effectively
- Familiarized with Edge Master Software to develop set-ups
- Work with production supervisor as needed
