Student Support Shadow - Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to support a 2nd-grade student in the mainstream classroom. This is a unique opportunity to help a child thrive socially, academically, and personally. Student Support Shadows work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents. If you are patient, caring, and understanding, you will thrive in this role. This is an excellent role to springboard for future growth in education as a Teacher's Assistant, Lead Teacher, or ABA service provider.

Pay Range: $16-$19 an hour

Student Support Shadows:

• Provide calm and caring guidance to the student, supporting academic, social, and emotional needs
• Work with the student, both in-class and one-on-one, to enhance their learning and complete the classwork
• Collaborate with the parent and teachers to support the child
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow with our school is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents of diverse backgrounds
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
