Tractor‑Trailer Systems Mechanic

When you roll into our Greer facility, you’re the go-to pro ensuring every trailer that leaves our bays is road-ready. You’ll scan work orders, prioritize inspections, and dive into hands-on diagnostics to keep our tractors’ trailers safe and efficient.

• Conduct full trailer checkups—from lighting and wiring to brakes, suspension, and axles—so units meet all safety requirements.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly, then perform precise repairs or replacements.
• Handle routine service tasks and corrective work to keep downtime low and uptime high.
• Document every inspection, repair, and part used with accurate service notes.
• Team up with fellow technicians to streamline processes and share know-how.
• Keep your bay and common areas orderly, following safety procedures without compromise.

• High school diploma or equivalent (a technical certificate in automotive or trailer repair is a plus).
• Hands-on experience working on trailers or comparable heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical instincts with a talent for problem-solving.
• Comfort with hydraulic components and 12V trailer electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Sharp attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
