Wellness Coordinator for Assisted Living

We are seeking a compassionate and organized professional to help support the overall well-being of residents in an assisted living environment under the supervision of our Wellness Director. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging wellness programs that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive enrichment. The ideal candidate is resident-centered, collaborative, and committed to creating a supportive and engaging community atmosphere. You will also mainly be stationed in our Memory Care Unit overseeing the day-to-day there.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate wellness activities and programs that support resident engagement and quality of life.
• Assist with planning group events, fitness activities, educational sessions, and social opportunities.
• Work closely with residents, families, and team members to identify interests and support individual wellness goals.
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance records, program materials, and related documentation.
• Support new resident orientation and help foster a welcoming community environment.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying abilities and preferences.
• Collaborate with care, dining, and community teams to align wellness initiatives with resident needs.
• Monitor program effectiveness and suggest improvements based on resident feedback and participation.
• Ensure activities and wellness offerings are safe, inclusive, and aligned with community standards.
• Assisting with Scheduling
• Weekend availability required as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living, resident activities, wellness coordination, recreation, or a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Creative, adaptable, and able to tailor programs to diverse interests and abilities.
• Comfort working collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and service-oriented attitude.
