🩺 What You’ll Do

As a Travel SLP, you’ll provide specialized evaluation and treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and achieve positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions

  • Perform swallowing and dysphagia assessments as appropriate

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies

  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

⭐ RequirementsMust Have:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Colorado

  • DORA registration required

  • Current BLS certification

  • Recent clinical experience in a hospital or comparable healthcare setting

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team

  • Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment
