Accounts Payable Spicialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.Match invoices to supporting documentation and approvals.Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transactions, and other approved payment methods.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems.Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries.Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsAssociates degree or at least 5 years of experience in an Accounting position .Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.Experience with accounting software is preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds.Ability to perform repetitive hand and keyboard movements.ScheduleFull-TimeMonday through Friday between 8am-5pmIn-Office PositionCompensation & Benefits$18.00 per hourShared Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanOther voluntary benefits availableWhy Join Us?We value teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
