A Manufacturing Technician provides technical support in production environments, ensuring products are built, tested, and maintained to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Role Overview
A manufacturing technician works in engineering and manufacturing organizations across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, chemical processing, and electronics. Their primary purpose is to support engineers in developing, producing, or testing products and processes to meet customer specifications in terms of quality, cost, and delivery They often gather and analyze data, solve technical problems, and produce or update documentation such as production schedules, quality reports, and technical specifications
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment
  • Assemble, repair, or modify products according to defined standards
  • Conduct quality inspections and first-off testing to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Communicate with production teams, engineers, suppliers, and sometimes customers to resolve technical issues
  • Support research and development teams by producing manufacturing packages and technical documentation

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical production environments
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to use tools safely I Knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and industry-specific practices such as HACCP in food manufacturing
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and update technical documentation
  • Flexibility to perform multiple tasks and work in both office and production environments
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, are often preferred
Work Environment
Manufacturing technicians may split their time between office-based tasks (documentation, reporting, planning) and hands-on work in production or plant environments They may also visit suppliers, customers, or regulatory bodies as required. Work can be full-time, permanent, or contract-based, depending on the employer

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to read and follow written procedures and instructions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or technical school degree, or equivalent is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Good communication skills required. The ability to work well within a TEAM environment is required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills required. Algebra experience a plus.

Employment: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 6am-4:30pm
Workdays: Monday- Friday
Pay: $22/hr D.O.E
Location: Godley Tx 76044
