Position SummaryWe are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about providing quality, resident-centered care and helping residents improve their functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to residents
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Address communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs as appropriate
- Monitor and document resident progress, responses, and outcomes
- Establish realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals
- Educate residents, families, and staff on appropriate therapeutic strategies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all applicable regulatory, safety, and facility standards
- Current State SLP License (or eligible)
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
