What you’ll do:
- Diagnose service calls involving wiring, electrical panels, outlets, lighting, and breakers.
- Discuss repair and upgrade options with homeowners and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions by communicating clearly and professionally.
- Complete installations including generators, panel upgrades, new circuits, lighting, EV chargers, and whole-home surge protection.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Document work accurately by recording job details, estimates, and customer notes in company software.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace while respecting and protecting customer property.
- Work closely with dispatch and management to support efficient scheduling and successful job completion.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in residential electrical service.
- Solid understanding of residential systems, including wiring, electrical panels, troubleshooting, and code compliance.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying outdoor conditions.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development in electrical systems and best practices.
