Manufacturing Technician – Electrical / Electronics

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
Pay Rate:$20.00+/hour


Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician – Electrical/Electronics supports manufacturing operations through equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, and process support. The technician works with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production to ensure equipment and products meet quality and production requirements.


Essential Duties

  • Operate, set up, and monitor electrical/electronic manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform electrical and functional testing using multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and equipment-related issues.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Perform voltage, resistance, continuity, and functional testing.
  • Identify equipment and process issues and assist with corrective actions.
  • Support equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist Engineering with process improvements, testing, and equipment validation.
  • Document test results, equipment issues, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Follow ESD, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical/electronics preferred.
  • Previous experience in electrical, electronics, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a related technical environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using electrical test and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document work.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work around manufacturing equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to use hand tools and electrical test equipment safely.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform detailed testing.
  • Ability to follow PPE, ESD, and safety requirements.
