Metro Paws Animal Hospital in Skillman (Dallas, TX) is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated veterinary team. As a Veterinary Receptionist and the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for pets and their families.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Welcome clients and pets and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer phones, emails, and client questions professionally
- Schedule appointments, wellness visits, sick visits, surgeries, and follow-ups
- Check clients in and out and maintain accurate patient records
- Process payments, invoices, and prescription requests
- Communicate veterinary recommendations and follow-up instructions
- Coordinate communication between clients and the veterinary team
- Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support daily veterinary hospital operations and administrative needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary hospital, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional with clients and their pets
- Comfortable answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling payments
- Basic computer and veterinary practice management software skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate patient records
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and support others
- Comfortable handling a variety of animal species and breeds
- Passion for providing exceptional client service and compassionate veterinary care
