Join Our In-House Subacute Rehabilitation Team!
AVIR at La Hacienda is an in-house subacute rehabilitation facility seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available.
Position Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
Provide skilled speech-language therapy services in a subacute rehabilitation setting.
Treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations.
Maintain compliance with professional, facility, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehabilitation is preferred.
New graduates with appropriate licensure and credentials are encouraged to apply.
