Associate Furnace Operator

Staffworks is hiring an Associate Furnace Operator!

Pay: $20.90/hour (includes 10% shift differential)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Assist with setup and operation of vacuum atomization furnace equipment
• Prepare raw materials and operate furnace controls
• Perform cleaning, monitoring, housekeeping, and minor repairs
• Assist with furnace lid, coils, crucibles, and equipment maintenance
• Use electric hoists and work at heights up to 60 feet
• Follow all safety, EH&S, PPE, and respirator requirements

What We're Looking For

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills required
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Reliable attendance
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently
• Comfortable working at heights and wearing a respirator
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, squat, twist, reach overhead, and climb stairs for extended periods
