Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an accomplished Family Law Attorney to join a well-established legal team in Dover, New Hampshire. This position offers the chance to manage meaningful family law matters, build strong client relationships, and work alongside respected practitioners in a collaborative office setting. The ideal candidate brings sound litigation experience, independent judgment, and a client-focused approach to sensitive legal issues.

Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, parenting disputes, support matters, and related proceedings
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage discovery activities by developing requests, evaluating responses, and organizing case materials for hearings and trial preparation
• Advocate for clients during negotiations, mediations, court appearances, and other contested proceedings
• Provide strategic legal guidance that helps clients understand options, risks, and likely outcomes throughout each stage of a matter
• Maintain an active caseload while meeting deadlines, advancing matters efficiently, and coordinating with colleagues and support staff
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication and thorough counsel tailored to individual family law concerns• Active license to practice law in New Hampshire
• At least 2 years of legal experience, with substantial exposure to family law matters preferred
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, pleadings, and other court filings effectively
• Experience handling discovery and preparing cases for litigation
• Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and client counseling skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative legal team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
