Community Association Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Community Association Manager to support a local client in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position combines administrative leadership, resident and board communication, and financial coordination to help properties run smoothly and professionally. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational judgment, confidence in managing meetings and documents, and a service-focused approach to building trusted client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day administrative management of community associations, ensuring board directives, owner requests, and operational priorities are handled efficiently.
• Foster strong relationships with board members, homeowners, and business partners by providing clear communication, prompt follow-up, and dependable support.
• Prepare and coordinate association budgets, review financial information, and present updates to boards in a clear and organized manner.
• Organize and facilitate board and membership meetings, including agenda preparation, scheduling, documentation, meeting minutes, and tracking of action items.
• Interpret and apply governing documents and relevant Colorado statutes to support compliant association operations and sound decision-making.
• Oversee key governance processes such as covenant enforcement, collections coordination, architectural review administration, and project follow-through.
• Coordinate vendors, maintenance requests, bid collection, and other service activities to ensure community needs are addressed in a timely manner.
• Manage administrative tasks related to insurance records, reserve planning support, website updates, software usage, and required association documentation.
• Respond to document requests from real estate professionals, title companies, and lenders with accuracy and within required timelines.
• Promote a high standard of professionalism while supporting business growth, client satisfaction, and the overall success of the organization.
• 3-5 years of experience in community association management or a closely related office management environment.• Detail-oriented credentials related to community association management are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with boards, homeowners, vendors, and external partners.
• Working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, accounts payable, and administrative office operations.
• Ability to manage meetings, prioritize competing tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with association governing documents, compliance procedures, and applicable Colorado regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Proficiency with office technology and software platforms used for communication, recordkeeping, and community management.
• Flexible availability and reliable transportation to support meetings, site visits, and community-related responsibilities.
