About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support a leading client on-site in Boise, Idaho. This individual will play a key role in coordinating and managing BIM processes for large-scale industrial construction projects, ensuring model accuracy, clash-free coordination, and seamless collaboration across project teams.

Compensation Breakdown
- $38/hr: $79,040 Base + $29,640 Guaranteed OT + $6,500 Per Diem = $115,180
- $39/hr: $81,120 Base + $30,420 Guaranteed OT + $6,500 Per Diem = $118,040
- $40/hr: $83,200 Base + $31,200 Guaranteed OT + $6,500 Per Diem = $120,900
Includes approximately 10 hours of guaranteed overtime per week.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial, mission-critical, semiconductor, or data center projects preferred.
- 1+ years of BIM coordination experience.
- Proficiency with:
- Revit
- Navisworks Manage (including clash detection)
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Experience coordinating LOD 400 models.
- Strong understanding of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and coordination documentation.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and interdisciplinary coordination processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Procore
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with automation and scripting tools such as:
- Dynamo
- Python
- PowerShell
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain 3D BIM models in Revit in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Perform model federation and clash detection using Navisworks Manage to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to ensure model integration and accuracy.
- Maintain BIM standards, file structures, naming conventions, and model libraries.
- Generate construction-ready documentation and model views for field use.
- Manage model sharing, version control, and collaboration through BIM 360/ACC and other common data environments (CDEs).
- Facilitate data exchange, issue tracking, and model coordination using tools such as Navisworks and Newforma Konekt.
- Participate in model coordination meetings and communicate updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
- Partner with QA/QC teams, construction management, and field superintendents to proactively resolve coordination issues.
- Lead and participate in meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Attend daily and weekly field meetings to stay aligned with site conditions, project sequencing, and construction progress.
