Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with production leadership and team members to plan and perform maintenance on plant equipment with minimal downtime. You will focus primarily on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery while also supporting general facility upkeep. You will document and manage all maintenance activities using the Maintain-X software system to ensure accurate records and efficient scheduling.
Responsibilities- Partner with Production Managers, Production Supervisors, and other team members to schedule maintenance work on equipment while minimizing production downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using PLC troubleshooting techniques where applicable.
- Carry out maintenance duties throughout the plant, focusing primarily on equipment while also supporting facility upkeep as needed.
- Use the Maintain-X software system to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and update equipment maintenance records.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow all safety procedures and best practices while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the maintenance room and on the production floor.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a production or plant environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot production equipment efficiently and safely.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting concepts and methods.
- Ability to use maintenance management or work order software, such as Maintain-X.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production leadership and team members.
- Experience working in a regulated or highly organized production environment.
- Familiarity with air-conditioned maintenance spaces and clean facility standards.
- Comfort using digital tools and software for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks.
- Willingness to support both equipment maintenance and general facility upkeep as needed.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates on 2nd shift in a very clean and regulated production environment. You will work from an air-conditioned, organized maintenance room, supporting equipment and facility needs throughout the plant. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safety, providing a professional and well-maintained setting for daily operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
