We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to support commercial agreement management for our team in Buffalo, New York. This position plays a key role in shaping, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of business contracts while helping internal partners make informed decisions around risk and compliance. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work effectively across sales, finance, delivery, and leadership functions.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, prepare, and negotiate commercial documents such as master service agreements, statements of work, confidentiality agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, and proposal-related terms.
• Examine contract language to uncover legal, financial, and operational concerns, and recommend practical solutions to reduce exposure.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to explain contractual commitments, key business terms, and potential areas of risk.
• Contribute to deal support efforts by advising on contract strategy and documentation during proposal and sales activities.
• Lead or support discussions with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to reach acceptable contract terms.
• Create and manage subcontract agreements that align with primary contractual obligations and business requirements.
• Maintain accurate contract records, supporting documents, and status updates within the contract management system.
• Work closely with business development, finance, delivery, and executive teams to promote compliance with negotiated terms and company standards.
• Assist in resolving contract-related issues, including interpretation questions, disputes, and performance concerns when they arise.• At least 2 years of experience in contract administration, contracts management, procurement, or a related commercial contracting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to review, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of contract risk evaluation, compliance considerations, and standard business terms.
• Experience with redlining and contract audit activities, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced business setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable relevant experience related to the role.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus, particularly within technology, staffing, consulting, or services environments.
