• 1st Shift (Mon-Thu): 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 1st Shift (Fri-Sun): 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 2nd Shift (Mon-Thu): 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
• 2nd Shift (Fri-Sun): 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outbound Team Lead to support high-volume sort center operations. This role is responsible for coordinating outbound staging, loading, trailer dispatch, and ensuring shipments depart accurately and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and has experience leading warehouse or distribution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead outbound loading, staging, and dispatch activities
• Ensure freight is sorted and loaded accurately by destination and route
• Coordinate trailer positioning, dock assignments, and departure schedules
• Monitor on-time departures and resolve loading or shipment issues
• Assign and oversee daily work activities for warehouse associates
• Coach team members on productivity, quality, and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and loading requirements
• Track outbound performance metrics and communicate operational updates

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, shipping, or distribution experience
• Experience with outbound operations, staging, and load building
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Sort center, hub, cross-dock, or transportation experience
• WMS, TMS, or load planning system experience
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience
