ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Warrenton, VA. This opportunity offers the chance to support high school students through a collaborative co-teaching model, working alongside general education teachers to provide individualized academic and instructional support.

This position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students access the general education curriculum while supporting their individual IEP goals.

Qualifications:

Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license/endorsement required

High school special education experience preferred

Experience with co-teaching preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Ability to provide individualized instruction and support within a general education classroom

Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and educational needs

Key Responsibilities:

Co-teach alongside general education teachers in high school classrooms

Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Virginia standards

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide accommodations, modifications, and academic interventions as appropriate

Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and administrators

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
